9:00 - 10:00-  The children arrive and engage in free play in all interest areas which includes: teacher directed crafts and child directed art, table toys, drama centre, book centre, science area, floor toys, sensory activities and cognitive/manipulative toys.

10:00 - 10:10 - Tidy up time. The children clean up and help to pack up their play areas.

10:10 - 10:20 - Circle Time, the children listen to a story, engage in yoga, sing songs, etc

10:20 - 10:30- Cognitive Session, where the children engage in quiet independent play, as they work on peg boards, puzzles, stringing beads and matching activities.

10:30 - 10:40 - Bathroom and Hand washing routines (The children are free to use the washroom through out the day as they need, but this transition ensures all of the children's hands are clean prior to eating snack).

10:40 - 11:00 -  Snack time for all. Books are available for children who are not interested in eating.

11:00 - 11:25 - Gross Motor Activities, the children have access to  a variety of physical activities including: balls, hula hoops, plasma cars, riding cars, parachute, obstacle course and running games.

11:25 - 11:30 -  Home time, the children depart.

Due to shared space in the community centre, our toys, shelves, carpets and tables etc. need to be set up at the start of each day and put back into storage at the end of each day. Each child's family is given a day in the week to assist with storing tables and shelves.

This schedule is flexible and may fluctuate based on the children's interests and needs.
