LEARNING THROUGH PLAY
SINCE 1973
At Gingerbread Nursery School, we strive to provide a nurturing and consistent learning environment for your child. We want to inform our valued parents that, due to operational costs, there will be no discount applied during months when the Nursery School is closed due to holidays. This policy ensures the sustainability of our programs and the uninterrupted quality education we offer.
We kindly request that the full tuition amount is due every month, from September to June. Your support helps us maintain the high standards of care and education that your child deserves. Thank you for your understanding and continued trust in our Nursery School.
Using the guidelines, as outlined in the Assessment for Quality Improvement with the Durham Region Operating Criteria, we deliver a high-quality program that allows children opportunities for play, socialization, exploration and developmentally appropriate learning in a safe and nurturing environment.

We incorporate the Ministry of Education's policy statement reflecting the pedagogic approach of How Does Learning Happen which views children as competent, capable and rich in potential. It sets out broad goals for children and expectations for programs organized around the four foundations of belonging, well-being, engagement and expression.
